Announcement
Welcome to Hyunah Kim's All Modern Arts! Art is like breathing every day. Like the scenery that changes every day, like the agitation of emotions that change every day, and like my thoughts that progress little by little with the seasons, I am an artist who follows the natural changes and pursues novelty every time. I am so happy to be able to share these paintings with people who love my art, which is why I am making my living as an artist. I directly communicate and communicate with my collectors. Sometimes I realize that this is more difficult than painting. However, I want to communicate with the world through communication with others rather than being locked inside myself. Once again, I want to thank everyone who loves my art.

5 out of 5 starsWhether a piece of art is nice or not is subjective. I loved this painting as soon as I saw it offered and the item I received was exactly as it looked online. What’s not subjective is that this is a real painted piece not a fake or a print. It’s legit. I got exactly what I was hoping to receive. Also not subjective is whether the seller takes care in getting a very fragile item from point A to point B. The quality of the packing materials and the care taken to protect it was absolutely exceptional. Would buy from her again without question. And so should you.

Frequently asked questions
WHAT KIND OF MATERIAL DO YOU USE TO DRAW ARTWORK?
The materials I use are very high quality materials such as those used in galleries or museums. I do not make my picture cheap to make money, and I am very proud of it.
CANVAS - I'm using ultra thick, acid free, triple primed fine cotton canvas, skillfully woven from high-grade, 100% cotton yarns.
STRETCHER BARS - First quality precision-cut kiln dried solid pine wood bar that are made in USA. The best bars to use for a clean modern Gallery Stretching / Museum Stretching finish.
PAINT & VARNISH - I use the best acrylic / oil paint with strong pigment, paint my painting with an oil based varnish that provides UV filtering and protects the art from environmental pollutants.
WHAT DOES "STRETCHED" or "UNSTRETCHED" MEAN?
Stretched canvas means that the painting comes with 1.5 inch thick wood stretcher bars that have been attached against the back of the painting. This simply means that you are able to hang my painting on a wall once received (no wire needed).
Unstretched canvas is a painting that does not contain any stretcher bars on its back to support it. That is the reason we were able to roll your artwork and ship it via mailing tube. Once you receive your Unstretched painting you can take it to your local framing shop and decide for yourself, it is beautiful both ways, gallery wrapped or framed. I prepare all of my paintings with an additional 3" on all sides for stretching.
I JUST PURCHASED ONE OF YOUR UNSTRETCHED PAINTINGS, CAN YOU STRETCH IT FOR ME?
YES! I am happy to stretch and ship your large scale painting for you, this is what I specialize in.
I only charge my clients for the stretcher bars and shipping, there is no extra cost for me to stretch your painting for you.

ABOUT THE PRICE OF MY ARTWORK (1)
I would like to clear on this issue about the price of my artwork.
Some people say it's too expensive (especially, customers in Etsy), and some people from my Social Network (Facebook, Instagram and my Website) say it's very inexpensive.
To explain my situation of how I price my artwork, I have to briefly introduce my background. I have been painting over 20 yrs. After graduating my BFA from CSULB, and MA from EIU(Eastern Illinois University), I have been working as a freelancer artist(for example, Art.Com, Saatchi Art, Zatista Art, and Singular Art), teaching art to children from 4yrs to 18yrs.( You can check out some of kid's works on Instagram; @hyunah.art4kids), and production artist (High Spirit Art, LeftBank Art, and Artist Guild).
ABOUT THE PRICE OF MY ARTWORK (2)
It's been just one year that I opened a shop on Etsy and starting my own art business.
Because this is a very beginning stage to advertise my works, I am pricing my artwork lower than it should be.
I can definitely say it is low since I use top grade materials, make my own canvas, design the most original design, and it is 100 % hand-painted. Lastly, I am taking great care with the packaging to ensure the artwork is unharmed during delivery.
ABOUT THE PRICE OF MY ARTWORK (3)
There are not many artists who can recreate their artwork exactly the same as before. Or even if they can, they usually don't do that because it is very time consuming, too much work and effort to do that.
I am painting a 100 % hand-painted artwork only to make a stable living to create art.
I love to make art and I enjoy every moment of it. Till I successfully launching my artwork in art business, I will let my buyers to buy my art work for the lowest price I can offer. Yes! My artwork is an original. And yes! It is made to order.
You can buy the original artwork for the price of production artwork. I know this is a very special stage for me as an artist also. I hope you understand a little more about this take-off stage.
